We first met in 2013 in Leeds when Dan (inadvertently) crashed Izzy's 23rd birthday party.

Our first date was at the Leeds institution that is the Brudenell Social Club. Dan's intentions were unclear. Was it a first date or a catch-up? It must have been a first date, because we've been together ever since.

In the 12 years since then, we've called several places home including Leeds, Perth, Oxford, and now London. We've been fortunate to meet many great friends along the way.

Over the years, we've had lots of great adventures; some real highlights include walking the West Coast Trail in British Columbia, fleeing from a forest fire in Portugal, watching the World Athletics Championships in Budapest, and attending many of our friends' weddings all over the world.

After 11 years, Dan worked up the courage to propose while we were hiking in the Lake District. When Izzy got over her shock, she said "yeah alright."

We are thrilled to share this special day with you and can't wait to celebrate surrounded by our loved ones.
